OUR BOARD
The Windward Retreat Center is a nonprofit organized in a manner consistent with the traditions, testimonies, faith and practice of the Religious Society of Friends (the Quakers). All are welcome who share Friends’ values of peace, equality, and social justice.
Our dream was to create a place of retreat and learning for our members, families, and Friends from around the world. A special place where we could come together to practice the tradition of silent worship, along with hosting a variety of educational and retreat opportunities. The dream became a reality in the spring of 2013 with the opening of the Windward Retreat Center.

Vice President & Treasurer
John is a horticulturist and educator. He owns and operates a landscape nursery.
George Davis
Secretary
George is a sports therapist acupuncturist. He has a practice in Honolulu.
Brett Pruitt
Executive Director
Along with facilitating the centers operation, Brett is the publisher of a monthly magazine that focus’ on law in Hawaii.
